Espargaro mengungguli Francesco Bagnaia dari Cucati dan Brad Binder dari Red Bull KTM yang harus puas finis di posisi kedua dan ketiga.
Kemenangan Espargaro diwarnai drama. Ia suskes memenangi persaingan di barisan depan dengan menyalip Bagnaia di lap terakhir.
Selain itu, ada inisden kecelakaan yang dialami Marco Bezzecchi dari Mooney VR46 saat pertarungan masih menyisahkan 15 lap lagi.
